Using drama and putting on a play is a great way to engage pupils in a topic. However it can sometimes take a lot of time in preparation and is not always easy to involve all the pupils.
Our Make a Playdays do the job for you.
In one day our teacher will engage up to 140 pupils! in a performance for parents, staff and the rest of the school that will be long remembered.
The Wind in the Willows is a magical story, which is a great way to bring the word of animals to life. Here they talk and walk like humans but retain animal looks and characteristics. It is a great way to fire the imagination of pupils to how animals think and live. The characters are also so beautifully crafted that they still today are very relevant – How many Mr Toads are in your class for instance or even shy but secretly bold Moles?
We have had some lovely times teaching our Wind in the Willows day and it is perfect as starting point or ending point to an animals topic.

"The children enjoyed the day thoroughly. The information pack that was sent beforehand was very useful as staff knew what was happening and what they needed to do. Mark was brilliant with the children; he directed them carefully and encouraged them along the way. The performance at the end of the day was very successful. The Yr 5’s enjoyed performing the show and the rest of the Upper School enjoyed watching it. Thank you very much for doing such a brilliant job!"
