This show written by Director of Splats Steve Richards is original and great fun.
Bungaroos live on Bunga planet. They are all very happy there playing games and having fun. BBUT one Bungaroo wasn't like the rest - he wanted to travel - he wanted to see other worlds and most of all he wanted to be a POP STAR!
Join Bunga Blue on his mission to Earth (where of course all the best pop songs live) and learn to Bop and Pop and Rock 'n' Roll along the way.
This Play day is perfect for all ages and works well with infants and nursery. We have split the story into 4 scenes so 4 groups can take part in the show. Pupils will also improve their confidence, communication skills, reading and listening, concentration and self expression
The Day
The day begins with an assembly where our teacher/director introduces the pupils to the day and explains the mission!
Then one class at a time learns its own scene with our teacher whilst the others make props/scenery in their classroom for the final show. As three of the scenes will be new to each class, pupils can perform their own scene in front of an audience of children in the show. You can also invite staff, parents or the whole school along as well.

Scene One - The Bungaroo has landed
Here the Bungaroo journeys to Earth and lands in the middle of your schools playground!
Scene Two -Bunga Rock
To celebrate the Bungaroos arrival the Headteacher holds a talent show - She is of course head judge.
Scene Three - The Bungaroo and the New King
The King of England challenges the Bungaroo to a fight and a game of Air Guitar King!!!
Scene Four - Return to Bunga Planet
The Bungaroo returns home a hero and inspires the other Bungaroos to visit Earth

Book Week at Wilberforce House
Just before relaxing at Half Term, Wilberforce House girls enjoyed immersing themselves in a week devoted to book related activities. This year's theme was 'Journeys' and one of the highlights of the week was a hilarious performance of 'The Bungaroo'. Helped by Splats Theatre Group, the girls had great fun rehearsing and performing this play about a bungaroo (part rabbit, part kangaroo) who journeys to Earth from the planet Bung, and the audience had great fun watching it!
